TL Network heads west
Jeremy Van Kuyk, vice-president of information technology for Travel Leaders Network, will be speaking at this year's TL Network Canada training sessions

Registration is now open to member agents for TL Network Canada’s national interactive training sessions, including stops in Calgary and Vancouver in October.

This year’s events will be part of the 19th Annual Canadian Fall Regional Conferences. This year, Power Speaker Jeremy Van Kuyk, vice-president of information technology for Travel Leaders Network, will take to the stage to discuss new ways for agents to engage in the customer journey when it comes to booking travel.

Each conference will feature leading suppliers and industry partners who will provide challenging tips and tools for agents in order to help them leverage business solutions. More than 30 suppliers will be in attendance, and each conference will feature a dinner with several grand prizes to be won.

“It’s always great to experience the latest training and meet all the key supplier partners at the trade show and reception hosted at the Canadian Regionals,” said Victor Farjami at Travel Support in Toronto. “This is a unique opportunity to network with colleagues in the industry in a localized setting and forge connections with other TL Network members, right in our own city.”

The Western Canada events take place on the following dates:

  • Oct. 24 - Calgary - Coast Plaza Hotel, 1316 33 St. NE
  • Oct. 26 - Vancouver - Terminal City Club, 837 West Hastings St.

Following the educational sessions for each conference, members will meet and network with more than 30 supplier partners during a one-hour trade show, followed by a full-course plated dinner, where several grand prizes will be drawn. All attendees will be eligible to win one of many travel prizes being offered including: a pair of airline tickets courtesy of Sunwing Airlines, WestJet Vacations and South African Airways, Rail Europe tickets, gift cards and more.
