Air Canada Vacations has announced the launch of its new Sun Brochure for 2017/18, featuring 40 destinations and more than 700 resorts – 60 of which are new to the Air Canada Vacations line-up. It includes nineteen resorts exclusive to ACV, 30 semi-exclusive resorts and 26 resorts with exclusive categories, sections and meal plans.
Air Canada’s Early Booking Bonus for travel to Mexico and the Caribbean allows travellers who book by Aug. 31 to make savings of $800 per family ($250 per adult and $150 per child aged 2-12), while bookings made between Sept. 1-30 represent $600 in savings. Travellers can also benefit from $500 in savings when booking between Oct. 1-31.
Group bookings will also get more; new this year, ACV is offering bonus savings of $800 or more for group bookings made at one of its Top Picks resorts. The offer is valid for reservations made by Aug. 31, 2017 and valid for departures between Nov. 1, 2017 and Dec. 31, 2018.
For incentive groups, there is a new $500 hotel excursion credit to use at destination, two free upgrades to Business class or Premium Rouge, free seat selection, and much more. Other group booking perks include fly and stay free, block seat selection on flights, Group Price Drop, Group Price Match, no deposit for 90 days, private transfers and more.
ACV’s CruiseAir program now includes a $0 deposit on flights when the air and cruise are booked up to 30 days before departure, with all flights 100 per cent refundable up to 30 days prior to travel.
Several new routes have been added as part of the 2017 winter flight schedule. Toronto to Cartagena will operate on Mondays, with Toronto to Belize City operating on Fridays and Toronto to Saint-Vincent operating on Thursdays – all with Air Canada Rouge.
From Calgary, there will be new weekly routes to Los Cabos with Air Canada and to Huatulco with Air Canada Rouge. From Ottawa, there will be a new service to Puerto Plata onboard Air Canada, and from Vancouver, Air Canada Rouge will fly twice-weekly to Orlando.
ACV will offer 11 hotels in Cartagena, Colombia, for the first time, with the non-stop Toronto-Cartagena flights to be operated by 136-seat Air Canada Rouge Airbus A319 aircraft offering two classes of service – Premium Rouge and Economy.
