Globus heads out on safari in 2018

The Globus family of brands will launch a series of nine- to 15-day African Safaris next year, the tour operator announced.

The new safaris include two new Cosmos tours: the nine-day On Safari in Kenya and the 14-day South Africa: From the Cape to Kruger, priced from $3,697 Cdn (excluding air). In addition, Monograms gives travellers access to private safaris for an out-of-the box vacation. Monograms’ itineraries range from nine to 15 days.

All of Globus’ Africa vacations are Small Group Discovery tours with a maximum of 20 travellers per departure, the company said.

Travellers booking any Globus family of brands vacation to Southern or East Africa, the company will make a contribution to South Africa National Parks (SANParks) and its Honorary Ranger program to Save the Rhino as well as the Lion Recovery Fund which is part of the Wildlife Conservation Network.

Travellers booking and depositing any 2018 Globus Asia, Africa or South Pacific vacation between July 12 this year and May 1 next year will automatically save five per cent on the land package. Cosmos travellers booking between July 12 and Sept. 12 this year will save $50/person.
