The Flight Centre Travel Group has announced the appointment of Billy McDonough as FCM Travel Solutions President for the Americas, with former FCM Canada brand leader Daniel Griffiths named as vice president, corporate product.
McDonough, who has led FCM in the USA for the past five years, will look to share best practices and create strategic synergies amongst the markets – including the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Argentina – in his new role.
He will continue to work closely with Marcus Eklund, FCM global brand leader and Maren Hanschke, manager of FCM’s Latin America network, to implement successful operational, account management and BDM team-based structures for the entire region.
As VP Corporate Product, meanwhile, Griffiths will be charged with leading and developing the strategic direction of product with respect to all FCTG corporate brands across the Americas, including the implementation of products to clients and commercial trade relations.
“There will be a great network of support available to the FCM Canadian business through the region and globally, which will only improve our ability to live up to the title the business has as World’s Leading Travel Management Company (as per WTA),” commented Griffiths, who has spent 18 years working across all FCTG corporate brands.
