'Wi-Ho!' router rental service debuts in Japan

WiFi router rental service ‘Wi-Ho!’ offered by Telecom Square, Inc. is now available for travellers visiting Japan from Australia and Canada.

Users can connect to the Internet at destinations such as Hokkaido and Tokyo during the trip, with unlimited data usage plans available; a flat fee starting at $12 per day. Telecom Square’s WiFi routers can support from 10-14 WiFi-capable devices simultaneously – meaning that if a user shares a router with members of their group, the price per person will be lower.

Customers can place an order online and pay with their local currency before travel starts. In addition, Telecom Square products can be purchased at major airports in Japan.

Further information is available on the company's website.
