Air Canada Vacations and special guest Royal Caribbean International, held training events for Vancouver travel agents yesterday in Burnaby and Langley, to introduce their Europe programs for 2018.

Europe Your Way
ACV’s new brochure, titled “Europe Your Way”, features 12 different vacation styles that range from Fly & Drive, guided tours, family getaways and Fly & Rail, through Escapes to the beaches of Spain and Greece, the Amalfi Coast, the French Riviera and Greek Islands, to Urban Getaways, Guided Rail Tours and cruises.
Each tour highlighted in the brochure comes with a quick reference box that lists the various components of each tour like flights, number of nights accommodation, transfers, sightseeing, meals, porterage and included excursions.
“We’re so excited about our new partnership with Trafalgar and Contiki,” said Frontuna. “What we’ve done is taken a number of their top selling tours and we’ve combined it with our air and that is the key element.” The current promotion includes a $600 per couple saving on Trafalgar guided trips booked and paid by April 26 and a $300 per person saving on Contiki guided vacations booked and paid by June 6.
This summer, Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge offer direct flights to Europe from Calgary and Vancouver including daily year-round flights to London Heathrow and Frankfurt from both gateways, plus four-to-five times a week Vancouver to Dublin seasonal service; Vancouver to Paris four times weekly seasonal service; and Vancouver to Zurich three times weekly seasonal service.
ACV’s early booking promotion saves clients $500 per couple, plus offers a reduced deposit of $198 if booked by April 30. Book between May 1 and June 30 and clients can save $300 per couple. All travel must be complete by December 31, 2018.

The cruiseline is also re-imagining Coco Cay, it’s private island with a $500 million renovation that will see a new dock facility, overwater bungalows, the largest freshwater pool at sea and the tallest slide in North America. “We are looking at overnight stays in this destination,” said Price.
Royal Caribbean’s current promotions include an Upgrade to Neighbourhood Balcony offer that sees complimentary Dine, Drink, Discover amenities automatically added to Boardwalk and Park View Balcony staterooms.
RCI’s Bolder Way to Beach Day promotion, running through April 30, offers 50 per cent off the second guest plus 25 per cent off the third and fourth guest, and an additional saving of $100 on a balcony or suite.
